Prior to Auburn basketball’s SEC opener against Georgia Saturday afternoon, point guard Tahaad Pettiford was not listed as a usual starter. With speculations coming from Pettiford’s ankle injury, he suffered against Purdue back in December in the Indy Classic. Auburn coach Steven Pearl clarified that Pettiford was benched for disciplinary reasons.
